Metalocalypse

Do you like Norwegian Black Metal? How about Adult Swim? Spinal Tap? It’s all here. Metalocalypse is a caricature cartoon of a very caricatureable subject- metal. Not up on your Norwegian Black Metal? Here’s a snippet:

OK, so maybe some of it isn’t very funny. But Metalocalypse does a good job of confronting the humorous parts- demon voices, crazy fans, extreme themes. Hey, if talking junk food can be an adult swim hit, then Metalocalypse has a chance.
