Lala has relaunched as a new online inexpensive music jukebox. But while they offer 10 cent web tracks, that is still more expensive than free (these are hard times!). But the real draw for me is that it can solve my mega music redundancy issue. I got songs on my hard drive, my ipod, my iphone, some old ipod, some CDs (how archaic!), a different hard drive, etc. Pain in the ass. I’d like to trust some new music service to host all of my music, just like flickr takes care of all of my pretty pictures. Is it really a revolution though? Probably just another evolution in the ongoing quest for the solution to the problematic music industry.
