Best ‘In the know’ shows (big musician in a little venue)

Most exclusive, aka shows where I could have hocked my ticket for big bucks:

2007 was a rockin’ year

126 bands.
23 venues.
$1,927 + fees.
This was my year. While any reading music lover is by now sick of top 10 lists, top 100 lists, etc…all of which contain the overrated ‘In Rainbows’…I present you with a recap of my year’s worth of music adventures. You may have been at a few of these, too. Relive the memories with me:

Rolling Stone keeps stealing my stories…part deux

A big one occurred on Friday- the Rolling Stone blog completely lifted the idea from my recent Top 5 entry for Songs that are long and could be longer, which I posted on Wednesday. On Friday, they posted their Weekend Rock List is- Best Songs Over Seven Minutes. Pretty weird, huh? Their five songs are different, but there are quite a few songs that exist that are over seven minutes long.

Hmmmmm…is the Hard Rock Chick someone at the Rolling Stone Rock Daily blog’s muse?
