Chris Cornell Pays Tribute to Michael Jackson

I got chills the first time I heard Chris Cornell cover Billie Jean. Oddly enough, his cover popped into my head shortly after I first heard about MJ’s death…probably because it’s one of the more recent MJ related memories I have.

This video is from the Peace and Love (hippie much?) Festival in Sweden this past weekend. You can download audio of it here.

Wine Tasting w/ Maynard Video

A Wine Library TV video with, albeit, an extremely annoying host, features a wine tasting with Maynard James Keenan of Tool/APC/Puscifer and winemaker Eric Glomski. Seriously, if the host drinks wine for a living should he be more mellow?

Ilan Rubin’s Drum Channel Interviews

3 very nice video interviews with Ilan Rubin are up on Drum Channel. Granted they get pretty technical in the second video (though there is a discussion about the sticks he uses that I could have a LOT of fun with), it’s still a worthy watch for the fans.

In video 3, ‘The Becoming’ and ‘Demon Seed’ are named as songs that he likes to play that he hasn’t played live yet. ‘Demon Seed’ has NEVER been played live….hmmm…and then he plays some of it. YES!

But, of course, you would know some of the things mentioned in these videos from my interview with Ilan.
