Krist Novoselic, former bassist for Nirvana, will begin blogging his own column for Seattle Weekly soon.

He’ll post a regular column, which has yet to be named, every Tuesday on The Daily Weekly. He plans to write about politics, news, music, and culture. In his first post, “Smells Like (Put Word Here) Spirit,” Krist addresses the origins of the title, “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” anarchy, and the WTO riots of 1999.

Interesting. Should be a good read considering his political efforts.

Had to throw this clip in of the infamous MTV VMA moment where Novoselic has a run in with his bass and proceeds to heckle Axl Rose. MTV used to be so cool. It’s at the end of the clip.
